Welcome to 2020, guys! Hopefully, these past weeks had you busy as hell doing all sorts of activities with your loved ones because, after all, that’s what the holidays are all about.
Because we are genuinely curious about how our dear friends spent these past couple of weeks, we have put together this ‘love letter’ of sorts to you, our patrons.
Christmas time all the time
Here in Romania we enjoy Christmas twice. This is due to our multicultural background, which we invite you to experience. After the classic period between the 24th and 26th, there are some folks who follow the old-rite Orthodox Calendar, meaning that they celebrate Christmas starting with the 6th of January.
How about that? Aren’t we lucky to enjoy Christmas twice? Well, you could be lucky as well. Book a room at Bicycle, the best hostel in Iasi and you can enjoy Christmas 2.0 with us, your friends.
How about New Year’s?
You might be onto something. Since Christmas gets an encore with the old-rite calendar, you guessed it – we celebrate New Year’s twice as well. Romanians are a festive people, a pretty noticeable trait when you stop and consider just how many holidays we have.
We like to drink and eat and spend time with our friends and family. Love is a feeling which we enjoy greatly and we take every opportunity we can get to spread it all over the place.
What stories do you have to tell?
Well, you found out a little about us but how about yourself, reader? Do you have some exciting adventures which you enjoyed during the holidays and you would like to share them?
Please let us know in the comments section or share the article to one of your more adventurous friends, who – for sure – has something brilliant to tell. In any event, you can always tell stories at Bicycle Hostel, the best place possible when you are looking for accommodation in Iasi.
